Workshop #1: Alive In Jesus Curriculum - Babies
The Alive in Jesus Babies Curriculum is written with the parent and baby in mind. It’s simple, practical, and easy to use. All that is needed is just a few moments each day where a parent can listen and sing along with the songs provided while showing the baby a few special props. By following the simple program, one can teach the baby about God who loves them as one introduces them to Him. This same program is then repeated each Sabbath in Sabbath School. It's never too soon to start telling your baby about Jesus. This curriculum will help you establish good routines in your home so that the seeds you plant will ground your child in a loving relationship with God.

And in a quiet moment, parents can read The Heart of the Matter, a spiritual message just for you, parents. At Sabbath School, sensory boxes encourage collaboration and free play and the same quarterly program is shared each week. What's Next?
Host a Sabbath School Alive Watch Party
It is a gathering of fellow Sabbath School class leaders, teachers, and helpers to participate in the SSA Conference as a team.
This can be done with your class team or with all the classes from your church. You can do this in your home, or host it at your church facility.
Hosting an SSA Watch Party with your Sabbath School class team will help revitalize your Sabbath School ministry's vision & purpose. Host it in your home or at your church facility.
You could even partner with other Sabbath School classes at your church to revitalize Sabbath School together. Watch the live streams together on one screen; then go to separate classrooms in your church to engage in workshops tailored for every Sabbath School class.
Make it a fun-filled event with food, fellowship, and purpose.
However, every leader should register individually. Why?
- Each leader gets access to the live chat to engage with the broadcast and other participants.
- In a larger Watch Party with multiple classes, each leader can access their own workshop level.
- Everyone accesses the archives whenever they want! (within 6 months)
First and foremost, ensure every team member registers individually.
Now for logistics: Since everyone will have unique setups and challenges, we have some ideas to help you plan.
- Host this in your home with your SS class team or host this at your church facility and reserve SSA training with the church board and post it on the church calendar.
- If your Watch Party involves different Sabbath School class teams, coordinate together how to implement the separate workshops in separate parts of your church facility.
- Connect with your fellow SS leaders and mark your calendars.
- Connect your computer to the large screen and display the event page for the live stream, live chat, and Zoom workshops. Get a webcam if you can so we can see you!
- Make sure you have a fast internet connection. For the most stable and fastest speeds, connect your computer directly to your modem or router using an Ethernet cable. Test your internet speed at https://www.speedtest.net/. 100+Mbps should be sufficient.
- During the event, tell us in the chat you are hosting an SSA Watch Party so we can recognize you!
- Have your own group discussions following the general sessions and workshops.
- Plan for light meals or snacks to help make the gathering more enjoyable.

Event FAQs
Whether you’re a Sabbath School director, superintendent, teacher, assistant, pastor, member, or volunteer—this conference is for everyone passionate about the ministry of Sabbath School. No matter your level of experience, this virtual event is here to inspire, educate, and empower you.
Discover innovative teaching techniques, gain practical insights, and connect with like-minded individuals who share your enthusiasm for Sabbath School. The best part? The registration fee is completely waived, making it accessible to all. Registration is required to access the event.
Make sure you register because registration is required to access the event. Registration is FREE!
The Sabbath School Alive Conference will be accessed here on this website. The conference live streams and workshops will be hosted here on this website and there will be an event page only accessible to registrants.
For the event, we will have a link that will take logged in users to the event page.
We will also send email communication about the upcoming event and a reminder a couple days before and the day of the event with a special link just for you to access. Be sure not to share the link, because when someone uses it you will get locked out. Just tell your friends to register... it's FREE!
For the best experience at the Sabbath School Alive Conference, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer rather than a mobile device. A computer offers the flexibility needed to seamlessly switch between the Zoom app, PDF documents, and your note-taking applications.
Additionally, ensure you have a fast internet connection. For the most stable and fastest speeds, connect your computer directly to your modem or router using an ethernet cable.
If you are using a mobile device, please check your cell signal or wifi signal to make sure you are getting the best connection possible.
The general sessions will stream live on the event page with no special software required. We also have a community chat app within the event page that you could participate in if you choose to do so - not required.
The Zoom application is required for all workshop tracks.
Desktop application: Download here.
Apple devices: Download here.
Android devices: Download here.
Also note that if you use security software and VPN that blocks certain tasks like video playback, you may encounter issues. We have had a few people that shared with us that they had to turn off the extensions in their security software.
That's a great question. We do this virtually, and because every person is required to log in using their own login credentials, each person needs to register individually. Registering individually will also allow individuals to come back within 6 months and rewatch the workshops and general sessions on their own time.
Maybe you can host a SSA Watch Party at your church or home for the live stream general sessions and workshops. You can have a watch party for the Adult, Children's, Youth, or Young Adult teachers or have them all together! But workshops are tailored for each teaching level, so you couldn't collectively attend multiple workshops at the same time when you have multiple teacher levels together.
For more information on the SSA Watch Party, go over here.
Well, we hope you don't miss it! Plan on attending because you will be able to connect to people just like yourself and share ideas.
When you register for the Sabbath School Alive Conference you get access to the live stream, live chat, and all the zoom workshops. You can only access these by logging in during the event.
If you did register and you were not able to attend, don't worry. We will provide access to all the recorded programming so you can come back within 6 months later to view the recordings.
