Pastor Deni Reis currently serves in Manchester, Kentucky, in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, as part of the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference. He is a pastor, musician, educator, creative ministry leader, husband, father of four boys, and doctoral student in Mass Media Production, currently developing his dissertation project on revitalizing Sabbath School and Personal Ministries through innovation for modern mission in today’s context.
After many years of teaching high school mathematics, leading worship through music, cultivating a passion for technology, and creating multimedia resources, Pastor Deni entered pastoral ministry with a unique blend of creativity, teaching experience, and mission-driven vision. He constantly explores emerging tools in the high-tech field with one central purpose: to use innovation in service of the gospel, making witnessing more engaging, accessible, and meaningful.
As a husband and father of four energetic boys who love nature, music, art, and Bible story reenactments, Pastor Deni understands firsthand the importance of making worship practical, meaningful, and accessible for the whole family. Together with his wife, Becky, a dedicated educator, he carries a personal burden to help families build spiritual rhythms that connect faith, Scripture, and daily life, not only in the church building, but also around the home.
He is the creator of the Re:fresh Sabbath School App, a digital ministry tool written from an Adventist perspective and designed to reach beyond church walls. Re:fresh serves as a Sabbath School companion and a spiritual “Swiss Army knife” for personal worship, family worship, small groups, teacher preparation, discipleship, and evangelism.
Pastor Deni’s ministry is driven by a simple conviction: technology should not replace spiritual life, but it can serve it. Through Re:fresh, he seeks to help individuals, families, and churches rediscover the power of daily worship, meaningful Bible study, intentional discipleship, and mission in a digital age.
